The Ilderton Slide
& Derby is based in Southwestern Ontario,
and is a Non Profit organization dedicated
to the promotion of Reining. Formed by a couple of local reiners in
1995, the Ilderton Slide continues to be Ontario's Premier Reining
Event.
The 2004 Ilderton
Slide Committee is made up of 6 local horsemen/women,
all of whom are involved in horses either professionally or for pleasure.
Jess & Laura Cofell, Darren Bilyea & Jackie McCaughey &
Matty & Jane Thomson.
Our 2004 show offers
two full days of NRHA Approved
classes,along with a 4, 5 & 6 year
old Derby on the Saturday afternoon. Competition will be keen with
over $18,000 in added money & prizes, including a Lawson
Bronze, several Morrison Bronzes, Pewters, Plaques & Championship
Sorel™ Jackets. Each day is not only sanctioned by the
